CLUB SANDWICH / A VEGETARIAN CLUB SANDWICH

A CLUB SANDWICH or CLUBHOUSE SANDWICH is a layered sandwich in which a few goodies are held together by three bread slices. These might be the poultry, meats or the veggies. Cheese slices add the taste, creaminess and richness to a sandwich

In this sandwich, I have added some fresh veggies with a cheese slice and a layer of cooked masala aloo-matar. Aloo-matar sabzi is relished by all so this layer is like a win-win in this delicious sandwich. This is a dry sabzi in which potatoes and peas are sauteed with a few spices. Above all the tangy pickled onion layer (सिरके वाले प्याज़) is incredibly unique. This sandwich is so filling that you don’t feel hungry for hours. This on-the-go food is the most convenient to make when one has the aloo-matar filling in advance
