Mava n Meva Modaks

0

Modaks or laddus are very much loved by Lord Ganesha. These are served as bhog after the Ganesh pooja or aarti to seek their blessings. There are numerous variations to prepare them. The authentic ones are prepared with rice flour, that are stuffed with coconut, nuts and jaggery. These modaks have a particular shape that comes with a mould.
I have prepared modaks with mava/khoya and meva/ nuts. This is an easy recipe to make modaks, and I have shaped them by hand. Not much time is required to prepare them. These are prepared with only a  few ingredients, which  are easily available in our kitchen pantry

These mava and meva modaks feel creamy because of mava(khoa) and crunchy as well due to  added nuts. Crushed nuts are added while roasting mava and when modaks are shaped, these are rolled into remaining crushed nuts
