BANANA BREAD/HOW TO BAKE A MOIST BANANA BREAD

What is my go-to breakfast choice? It is undoubtedly a thick slice of banana bread paired with a glass of milk or a mug of coffee. This sweet bread boasts chunks of ripe bananas and is enriched by the addition of cinnamon powder, resulting in a flavoursome, fruity, and moist texture.

BANANA BREAD VERSUS BANANA CAKE

Banana bread has all the same ingredients as Banana Cake. The difference lies in the tin in which it is baked. Banana bread is baked in a loaf tin and sliced as bread slices when perfectly baked. That is why this is called banana bread. This is sweet, deeply fruity, moist, and flavorsome.  The sweetness comes with over-ripped bananas and raw sugar that gives caramelized flavors to this extraordinary tasty banana bread

●  INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

• Over Ripe Bananas – 3 nos.
• All-purpose flour/maida – 1 cup (125 g)
• Raw sugar – 1/2cup (100 g)
• Walnut kernels (broken) – 1/2 cup
• Butter – 100 g
• Egg – 1 large
• Baking powder  – 1 tsp
• Cinnamon powder  – 1/4 tsp

●  PREPARATIONS TO BE DONE

•  Grease a loaf tin with butter
• Peel and mash bananas with a fork. It is ok if it has a few chunks
• Preheat oven to 180 degrees

●  WALK THROUGH

1- Cream butter and sugar with a wire whisk until it becomes light and fluffy

2- Add an egg and whisk well to combine

3- Next, add mashed bananas to the butter and sugar mix and combine gently

4- Add bits of walnuts to the batter

5- Add flour, baking powder, and cinnamon powder by sifting the three all together

6- Combine the flour gently with the wet ingredients to make a smooth and lump-free batter.

7- Pour the batter into the greased loaf tin and level it with a spatula

8- Bake the banana bread at 180 degrees for 50 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean

9- When the banana bread is baked, allow it to be inside the oven for 5 minutes.

10- Now remove the tin from the oven and allow it to cool completely.

11 – When the banana bread is cooled down, unmold it and slice it with a sharp serrated knife
