Curd rice is a beloved comfort food, especially popular in South India, where it is cherished for its naturally cooling properties. This dish is made by combining creamy curd (yogurt) with soft, cooked rice and then enhanced with a fragrant tempering of everyday aromatics like curry leaves, mustard seeds, and green chilies.
