
PALAK PANEER BREAD ROLL / DELIGHTFUL BREAD ROLLS WITH PALAK-PANEER STUFFING
What a delightful snack! This phrase came to mind upon taking a bite of this palak-paneer bread roll. It was ultra crisp on the outside and super soft inside. The flavoursome stuffing, featuring classic palak and paneer, was the standout attribute of these bread rolls.

Dahi ke shole and paneer roll are our regular snacks with bread slices. This time I wanted to make bread rolls with different flavors and the idea of classic palak paneer came to my mind. Palak-paneer bhurji (dry dish) making is the first step to make this yummy snack. Then this Palak-paneer bhurji is stuffed into the wet bread slices and shaped like a roll between palms. These rolls have to be refrigerated to allow them to set before deep-frying frying

The results after deep-frying the Palak-paneer rolls are just superb and worth relishable with chutneys and ketchup. These crispy-tasty and unique Palak-paneer rolls are definitely going to be your favorite, I’m pretty much sure

● INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
• Bread slices – 8 nos. (white or brown but preferably fresh ones)
• Palak/Spinach – 1 small bunch(250 g)
• Paneer – 100 g
• Onion – 1 large sized
• Salt – 1 tsp
• Red chilly flakes/powder- 1 tsp
• Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
• Oil to cook palak paneer – 1-2 tbsp
• Oil for deep-frying – Sufficient enough
• Processed cheese – 2-3 tbsp
• Water to wet the bread slice – 1/2 cup
Prep Time – 5 minutes
Resting Time – 10 minutes
Cook Time -10 minutes
Frying Time – 10 minutes

● PREPARATIONS TO BE DONE
• Wash the spinach leaves well and chop finely
• Chop finely the onion and ginger
• Crumble the paneer and keep it aside
● PROCEDURE. ..STEP -1
● HOW TO MAKE PALAK-PANEER STUFFING
1- Heat oil in a pan and add finely chopped onions and ginger. Saute onion for a while

2- Add chopped palak/spinach and saute.


3- Add salt, red chilly powder, and roasted cumin powder. Mix the spices well with palak paneer and cook for a while

4- Add crumbled paneer and cook with onion and spinach

5- Add 3-4 tsp processed cheese and combine with palak paneer making it creamier

6- Palak-paneer stuffing is ready. Switch off the flame and allow the stuffing to cool down completely

● STEP -2 HOW TO MAKE PALAK-PANEER BREAD ROLLS
1- Chop off the sides of bread slices

2- Dip slightly the bread slice into water and press with both hands to drain out the extra water


3- Add 1 tbsp stuffing to wetted and squeezed bread slice and

4- Bring the edges of bread slice together with both palms to make a roll

5- Make all rolls like this and refrigerate for 10 minutes to set

6- Heat oil in a kadahi and add 1 roll to hot oil(keep the flame at medium. Fry all sides of the roll until it gets a golden brown color


7- Cut the roll crosswise from the center to make them tempting


8- Deep fry all the Palak-paneer rolls like this and serve them with tomato ketchup and green chutney..Palak-paneer bread rolls are super crisp and yummy 😋
