BANANA-BLUEBERRY ICE  CREAM(NICE CREAM) /3 INGREDIENTS BANANA NICE CREAM

Summer is all about chilled desserts and drinks as these are the perfect remedy to summertime blues.
Summers in Delhi are intolerable with killing hot waves, mercury reaches almost 47°C. This is the perfect time to have something cool at intervals and for this purpose fruit-based, cold dessert like ice creams or popularly called nice creams are the best. This fuss-free nice cream fulfils all the requirement to satisfy your soul. This dessert consists of bananas as a base and blueberries as the add-in. The sweet-sour blueberries complement the sweet bananas

WHAT IS NICE CREAM?

NICE CREAM is a fruit-based and dairy-free ice cream which is prepared with frozen fruits and berries. This no churn ice cream has a soft and silky texture as dense and ripe fruits are used to prepare it. This  Glorious dessert is as simple as indulgent. The nicecream can be prepared in two ways. Both methods are quite easy and have been mentioned below. I feel the 2nd method quite convenient as it doesn’t require the food processor. This is a frozen dessert yet ice crystal-free because we freeze it for 2-3 hours and not overnight. Hope you all would love the BANANA-BLUEBERRY NICE CREAM and give a try. Kids would love to have it every single day

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

1-  RIPE BANANAS – 4-5
2-  HONEY – 1 tbsp or to taste
3-  BLUEBERRIES (FRESH /FROZEN OR DRIED)  –  2-3 tbsp (slightly crushed with a fork)

WALKTHROUGH

1st Method:-

1- Peel and slice bananas and freeze for 3-4 hours
2-  Add the frozen bananas with honey to the food processor and blend until you get a smooth and silky puree
3-  Drop the crushed berries and give a few pulse. Scoop out to enjoy

2nd METHOD(my method) -:

1-  peel and slice bananas
2-  add them to a mixer grinder with honey and grind until you get a smooth and silky banana puree
3-  transfer the puree to a container.

4- Drop the crushed berries and make swirl patterns with a toothpick and freeze for 2-3 hours until you get a soft textured ice cream

NOTES

1- If the fruit is too sweet you can avoid honey but I must admit here that bananas taste better with honey. Both are good friends
2- Any add-ins can be used. Any fruit, in contrast, berries or choco chips work very well in the nicecream
3- If you are using dried berries, soak them in any fruit juice for some time to allow them to become soft and plump
