CHANA DAL IDLI / SPLIT BENGAL GRAM IDLI/ THE LENTIL BASED IDLI RECIPE /चना दाल इडली

Chana dal idli is a very light and fluffy idli prepared by fermenting the lentil-rice batter. This idli has chana dal(split Bengal gram) as the main ingredient, so as compared to the original and classic idli which consists of the split urad dal, this one tastes more flavorsome. I make this chana dal idli for a change in the regular routine. This idli is healthier and diabetic friendly as chana dal/split Bengal Gram is highly recommended to cure the same. Apart from it, this dal is protein riched which is healthier and filling so that you don’t feel hungry for hours

Idlis, as everyone is aware that steamed and savory cakes are healthier and lighter on the stomach. This is the best option to kick start the day and easy to carry with various chutneys and the sambhar. This pairing makes one of the best lunch box ideas. This is a pleasure, sharing the step-by-step recipe here.
