Peda Lassi/ Pede Vali Lassi

The first rain of monsoon had knocked both the Southern and Western regions a few days ago, but North India is still burning. The Sun God is shining to their fullest leaving everyone sweaty. In this condition, nothing much is needed other than something refreshing and chilled to drink

And the lassi is the most perfect drink at this time around. This curd based sweet drink is prepared plain or sometimes added with other ingredients. Fruit-based lassis are wonderful like mango or banana lassi. Today I am sharing a unique lassi prepared by adding khoya or mava pedas. This refreshing pede vali lassi (पेड़े वाली लस्सी) is quite thick and filling. In harsh summers when we have a loss of appetite, this glassful of chilled lassi is a complete bliss
