No other cuisine has gained such huge popularity in India other than fusion Chinese food. This cuisine has been still on the top here for the past four decades. We have embraced their dishes with so much love that most of them have mixed and blended with our cuisine and are popularly known as Indo-Chinese dishes
A few such dishes from Indo-Chinese cuisine which are prepared in our day-to-day households are chinese-veg-hakka-noodles, veg Manchurian, chilli paneer, chilli chicken, fried rice etc. The list is endless but today I am sharing the recipe for chilli Paneer.
Paneer/cottage cheese is undoubtedly one of the most popular ingredients that are lovingly eaten in India and when blended with Chinese flavours like soy, chilly sauce and vinegar make it very relishable among all age groups
Let’s start making a very tasty chilli paneer dish

Preparation time – 10 minutes
Cooking time – 20 minutes

Ingredients required :
Paneer/cottage cheese – 300 gms ( cut into desired cubes)
Red, green and yellow bell peppers(cut into long slices) – 1 cup
Sliced onion – 1/2 cup
Sliced tomatoes – 1/2 cup
Chopped garlic – 1 tbsp
Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
White vinegar – 1 tbsp
Green chilly sauce – 1 tsp
Sweet-sour red chilly sauce – 1tsp
Sweet-sour red chilly sauce – 1tsp
Salt – 2 tsp or taste-wise
Cooking oil – 1 tbsp
Method
1 – Take a wok or pan and add oil and pan fry the paneer/cottage cheese cubes
2 – When golden brown on both sides, take them out and keep them aside
In the same oil add chopped garlic and stir
3 – Add sliced onion and sauté
4 – Add sliced bell peppers and stir-fry
5 – Add sliced tomatoes and saute. Avoid overcooking
6 – Add soy, both red and green chilly sauce, vinegar and salt
7 – Mix everything together and add paneer cubes.
8 – Combine everything gently and cook for 1 minute
9 – Tasty chilli paneer is ready to serve with fried-rice or hakka-noodles
