Paneer dish with methi n coconut is such a tasty and unique one with distinct flavours. Paneer is such a versatile ingredient that you can pair anything with this to prepare numerous dishes
Paneer dishes are relished in my family so I have to go on experimenting with this versatile ingredient. A few other paneer dishes like paneer-do-mirchi-dish is such one with unique flavours and texture.
This paneer dish is without onion n tomatoes, yet very tasty. In this dish, I have used kasoori methi, coconut milk and coconut powder balances the pungency of methi and gives it a unique flavour. The best part of this dish is that it prepares in no time with a few ingredients easily available in the kitchen pantry.

INGREDIENTES -:
1- Paneer/cottage cheese( cut in cubes) – 250 gms
2- Coconut milk – 200 ml
3- Coconut powder( desicated) – 1 tbsp
4- Kasoori methi – 2 tbsp
5- White pepper/safed mirch powder – 2 tsp
6- Salt – to taste
7- Oil – 1 tbsp
METHOD-:
1- Heat oil in a pan and add kasoori methi and sauté
2- Add white pepper and coconut powder and sauté
3- Add coconut milk and salt
4- Stir continuously otherwise coconut milk will split
5- Slowly the gravy will become thicker
6- Time to add paneer cubes
7- Stir 1 or 2 times and switch off the gas
8- Tasty methi coconut paneer dish is ready to serve with roti or parantha
