Despite plain parathas, there are many stuffed parathas prepared with the stuffing of mooli, ghobi, bathua, onion, jaggery-coconut, and the list is endless. This is one of the most likable flatbreads prepared in the Indian subcontinent. Its history is ages old, even the lanes and gullies (Paranthe Wali Gali in Delhi ) are named after this popular flatbread. Here I am sharing the recipe of Paneer-green onion stuffed parantha. This parantha is healthy, soulful, and powerful and keeps you full for hours. Green onions and dried as well as fresh herbs lift the flavours to the next level
● INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
• Grated paneer/ cottage cheese – 1/4 cup
• Finely chopped green onion – 1 no
• Chopped coriander – 1 tbsp
• Chopped red chilly – 1 tsp
• Cumin (jeera) seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Carom (ajwain) seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Salt – to taste
• Whole wheat dough for paranthas
• Ghee – sufficient for cooking parantha( 2 tsp for each parantha would be quite enough )
Preparation Time – 5 minutes
Cooking Time – 10 minutes

● METHOD –
1 – Mix everything mentioned above except ghee
2 – Take a big portion of dough and make a ball
3 – Flatten the ball of the dough a little with the rolling pin on the surface
4 – Put the paneer mix on flattened dough
5 – Cover this dough with hands to a ball-shape
6 – Using some dry flour flatten it again to make parantha
7 – Cook this parantha golden brown applying ghee on both sides
8 – Tasty paneer parantha is ready to serve with plain curd or raita

● METHOD –
• Mix everything mentioned above except ghee
Take a big portion of dough to make its ball
• Flatten it a little with the rolling pin on the surface
• Put the paneer mix on flattened dough
• Cover this dough with hands to a ball-shape
• Using some flour flatten it again to make a round disk
• Cook this parantha on a hot tawa by applying ghee on both sides. Soon the paratha will become crisp and get golden brown marks on both sides
