Easy tomato n’ paneer salad
This tomato and paneer salad is a fusion recipe. Based on classic Italian Caprese salad, this has the three basic ingredients and colours red, green and white. As we conveniently get paneer/cottage cheese here instead of fresh mozzarella, so feel free to use it in this salad. Fresh Basil or Tulsi leaves or any other sweet and tender edible leaves go very well with this beautiful salad. Fresh and firm tomatoes taste good with paneer. Cucumber and greens add freshness. The dressing is quite simple. A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and crushed black pepper work their best

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
• Fresh and firm tomatoes – 2-3 (sliced)
• Cucumbers – 1-2 (peeled and sliced)
• Cottage cheese/paneer – 150 gms (sliced)
• Some Basil or any tender green leaves/• herbs(torn by hands)
• Extra virgin olive oil – 1 tbsp
Crushed black pepper – 1 tsp
WALKTHROUGH
1- Arrange the slices of tomatoes, cucumber and cottage cheese on a plate or a tray
2- Add some fresh Basil/Tulsi or any greens
3- Drizzle some extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle the black peppercorns on the salad just before serving
