Pudina-bhuna jeera masala or dried mint-roasted cumin seeds masala is ideal for Riata, curd or masala-chass .  This masala is an aromatic and good for digestion. As both the ingredients used in this masala are good on the stomach and keep the stomach cool keeping the digestive ailments away. As mentioned in the title this masala has only two ingredients mint and cumin seeds. Mint or pudina is sun-dried for few hours and cumin is dry roasted and ground together in masala grinder or crushed in a pestle and mortar or sil-batta

INGREDIENTES – 

Fresh mint leaves – 1 cup
Cumin seeds or jeera – 2 tbsp

METHOD -:

First of all, wash the mint leaves and keep in the sun for drying. In summers it will take 5-6 hours to dry completely Dry roast jeera or cumin seeds and let it cool .Grind both the ingredients to a coarse powder or masala

Notes -:
* In winters it takes 2 to 3 days to dry the mint leaves

* You can dry mint leaves in the oven for few minutes by turning them time to time

Dry roast jeera or cumin seeds in a pan or hot tawa and let it cool
Grind both the ingredients to a coarse powder or masala in a grinder jar 

This aromatic masala is ready to add to the curd, raitas and chaas. Store this masala in an air tight jar for further use.
