Due to the availability of the freshest and juiciest radish during winter in the North, this is quite convenient to make this no-cook chutney. Other veggies like cucumber, onion, and tomatoes complete the dish in the context of taste and texture, giving it a delicious look. The coriander and mint leaves not only make it tastier but also work well for the digestion

WHY DO CHUTNEYS PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN INDIAN MEALS?

Most of the chutneys contain fresh raw vegetables and herbal leaves. As the Indian Subcontinent faces all types of weather, from extreme to moderate. And also we are blessed that our soils produce several different vegetables and fruits that hold the suitable effects according to the season. That is why we include fresh veggies and fruits as salads and chutneys in our daily diet. These chutneys include green herbs and aromatics that are well-defined to set the digestion and increase the appetite. I would certainly mention our salts and spices like roasted cumin powder and chaat masala. These spices are especially meant to be added to our chutneys for good digestion
