Egg Fried Rice


The dish is as simple and easy to cook as it looks. Lots of veggies, flavours of garlic and goodness of eggs makes it worth to be relished by all. This colourful rice dish is an eye-catching so an appetizer too.
For this dish cooked rice are required and a few seasonal veggies with some boiled eggs too. Leftover rice can also work the best for this. Just a quick stir-frying of veggies and combining with cooked rice and eggs and it is done with a flavoursome egg fried rice

1- Plain cooked rice – 2 cups
2- Hard or semi-hard boiled eggs (peeled and sliced) – 3-4 nos.
3- Finely chopped onions – 1/4 cup
4- Finely chopped carrot – 1/4 cup
5- Finely chopped beans – 1/4 cup
6- Finely chopped capsicum – 1/4 cup
7- Finely chopped garlic – 2 tbsp
8- Finely chopped red chillies – 2 tsp
9- Salt – to taste
10- Crushed black pepper – 1 tsp
11- Cooking oil – 1 tbsp


1- Heat oil in a skillet or pan and add chopped garlic,  followed by the chopped red chillies and all the veggies
2- Stir fry the veggies for a minute and add cooked rice and sliced eggs
3- Add salt and crushed pepper and mix everything to combine all the flavours into the yummy egg fried rice
